Product safety
Read the instructions that come with every item before you need it.
- Use the LED lantern and tealights instead of candles. Never leave a naked flame unattended.
- Hand warmers go in pockets or gloves, never directly on skin, and never in a sleeping bag.
- Foil blankets go foil side in.
- Purification tablets: follow the pack for dose and waiting time. They do not make contaminated water safe to drink if it contains chemicals.
- Radios and power banks: charge them every few months. Do not use damaged batteries or leave them in heat.
- First aid kits are for minor injuries. Call 999 in an emergency and 111 for non-emergency medical advice.
- Keep small parts and batteries away from young children.
Supply Drop is independent: not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK government. A kit does not replace emergency services.
